Microgreens, the Superfood
Microgreens are young plant seedlings between 1 to 3 inches long. They not only have a fantastic taste and colour, but they are also incredibly nutritious. Some of the health benefits include:
Combats inflammation
Prevents diabetes
Increase nutrient intake
Strengthen the immune system
Enhance bone and teeth health
Improve gut health
May even improve or attenuate chronic diseases
Harvesting these plants at an early stage means that the microgreens have a much higher percentage of nutrients than when they reach maturity; with a lower calorie content too!
Microgreens are particularly rich in:
Antioxidants
Vitamins
Minerals
Here, at Mustard Seed, we proudly grow 5 kinds of microgreens organically:
Radish, sunflower, amaranth, mustard, broccoli.
We have dedicated many months of research to optimise these plants’ nutrition value. Experimenting with the soil biodiversity and seed germination time, to ensure the very best taste and nutrition content. We are excited to share our products with you.
